Hello! I'm Alexa. I am a senior at Temple University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. I am currently the Marketing and Social Media Director for Design Pro Development and a NBA Dancer for the Philadelphia 76ers.
At Temple University, I served as the Executive Director of Communications for the Temple Student Alumni Association and the Social Media Manager for Temple Student Government. I ran two student government campaigns in 2016 and 2017 as the Director of Communications where I developed communication strategies to market our teams platforms.
I participated in Temple Athletics for two years with the the Temple University Diamond Gems Dance Team and was involved with my university’s television production organization, Temple Update: Update Now as a writer and anchor.

Among my extracurricular involvement, I previously interned at iHeartRadio Philadelphia where I recorded a personal interview with People Against Distracted Driving that was aired on Q102, Radio 104.5 and Mix 106.1.
Last summer, I interned at Fox29 positioned in Good Day Philadelphia where I had the opportunity to field produce Good Day Drives You among my other internship duties. I also interned at the Democratic National Convention 2016 in Philadelphia in liaison with the Washington Center and completed fieldwork placement with the Pennsylvania Democratic Party creating digital media and marketing campaigns. I interned at Josh Shapiro’s campaign for Attorney General in the fall of 2016, immersing myself in the political atmosphere of the 2016 election.
I am a passionate, goal oriented student interested in obtaining work, offering creativity and critical thinking skills to benchmark innovative ideas and gain industry experience. I am an outgoing, extroverted woman who enjoys taking on new projects and being hands on in a work environment.
